Prayer for Excellence, Discipline and Diligence

Father, in the Name of Jesus Christ, I decree that I am diligent and consistent in all the responsibilities that you have for me. I do not lag in diligence in any area of my life. I am fervent in spirit, serving the Lord. I rejoice always in hope, I am patient in tribulation and I continue steadfastly in prayer, in all that I do. By the blessing of God, I distribute to the needs of the saints and I am given to hospitality. Ro 12:10-13

Thank you that by your grace, I give myself continually to prayer and to the ministry of the Word. I recognize that you are the one who gives power to get wealth. I give you the highest place in my life. I seek first your Kingdom and your righteousness and all that I need and desire is added to me. I am steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord and in all that I do, knowing that in the Lord, my labor is never in vain. Acts 6:4, Deuteronomy 8:18, Mathew 6:33, 1st Corinthians 15:8

Because of your help in my life, I distinguish myself above my peers. Your excellent spirit is in me. Thank you that Kings and leaders increase my responsibilities and benefits because you help me to walk in consistent excellence. Wherever I am sent and wherever I go, I behave myself wisely. In all my dealings, I am marked by wisdom. Therefore I am set over others. I am promoted and accepted in the sight of all people, because God’s grace is upon me. In all my ways, I behave wisely because the Lord is with me. Daniel 6:3 , Samuel 18:5, 1st Samuel 1:14

All my leaders and peers see that the LORD is with me and that God prospers all that I do. I have favor in their sight because I work well. I am made overseer and put in authority over much. The LORD blesses my family, my church, my company and my business because of me. I am a carrier of the blessing of God, wherever I go. Greater and greater responsibilities are thus left in my hand and by God’s grace I always do exceptional work. Genesis 39:2-5

I decree that I am diligent to show myself approved before God and man. I am a workman not needing to be ashamed in any way. In all my labor there is profit. I plan well and because of diligence, I achieve the plans that you have for me. By my diligent hands I rule and my plans surely lead to plenty. 2nd Timothy 2:15, Proverbs 14:23

Thank You Lord that my faith is alive and active because it is accompanied by the right, God ordained works and action steps, that bring excellent results. I work smart. You show me what to do and I do it. You show me what actions to take and I take them. I am not mighty in word only but also in deed. James 2:20, Acts 9:6, Luke 14:24

In Jesus' Name I pray, Amen

Prayer to WALK IN VICTORY

Father, in the Name of Jesus Christ, I decree that in all areas of my life, every valley is exalted, every mountain and hill brought low; the crooked places are made straight and the rough places smooth; The glory of the LORD is revealed in all areas of my life, in greater measure, and all flesh shall see it together. Isa 40:4&5

I decree that, because I am born of God, I overcome the world. I overcome sin and deception and every delusion of the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world, even my faith. 1Jo 5:4

I overcome all obstacles that I face because He that is in me is greater than he who is in the world. 1Jo 4:4

I decree that in all things, by God’s grace and power, I am more than a conqueror through Him who loves us. Rom 8:37

I decree that the glory of God, [His presence, character and blessings] in my life is greater than anything that I have experienced before. Haggai 2:9

The Lord has comforted me. He has comforted all my waste places. He has made my wilderness like Eden and my desert places like the garden of the Lord. I walk in victory and by His grace, I have consistent joy and gladness, thanksgiving and the voice of melody. Isa 51:3

Thank You that with great power, I give witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace rests on my life. Ac 4:33

In Jesus' Name I declare.
Amen.

ON MY WEDDING DAY

On my wedding day, I woke up in my best maids house. Not in my parent's house as it's "supposed" to be. My parents had moved out of town many years prior. All through my life I had friends who constantly dreamed of the day when they would finally leave home but in my case, home left me. I would have wanted it to be different but I decided to enjoy what I had rather than whine about what I didn't have. God is so faithful, he gave me a mentor and boss who became my best friend and was like a mother to me. God will restore to you what you've lost and make it even more beautiful that what you could have imagined. Don't be so engrossed in what could have been. Enjoy what is.

On my wedding day I did my own make up. I wasn't trying to be cheap or humble. I just never imagined it any other way. That was me! My best maid and I had a late breakfast, did a facial and lay down as our masks dried up, going through girly magazines. Bliss! Never fit into the mold of what others feel should be the norm. Enjoy your life your way. If you want a barefoot wedding at the beach, go ahead. If you want a rustic wedding in your favorite ushago spot, go for it. If you want Cinderella to be jealous of your dress and decor, go for it. It's your day. Don't have other people's dream wedding on their behalf.

On my wedding day, we had no honeymoon plans. You see, we had decided that we were not going to go in to debt or to hassle people for money. We were going to live withing our means. God is either able or He isn't. We believed that He was. We didn't have a committee to arm twist for money or a fundraiser. We refused to mug people politely and not to pressure our friends. We sowed seed, we prayed, we saved, we worked, we gave and we trusted. By the end of the day, through faith, our own saving and through people's free will giving, the honeymoon was paid for. We flew there and back and spend an awesome time in an awesome resort. Don't panic, trust God.

On my wedding day, the unthinkable happened. My menses came. Brides, don't panic when this happens. Don't think your day is doomed. All day I had bad cramps, nausea and a bad headache. I was a bit frail. I remember shaking coz my bouquet was so heavy and my strength was not up to par. But I smiled for the camera, sang to my groom and enjoyed my day. The quality of life is not determined by what happens to you but by how you respond to it. Your response is your responsibility. Refuse to let unexpected twists floor you.

On my wedding day I experienced mercy. I had hurt some people along the way because of insensitivity and some not so good decisions. I had hurt a tailor here, a friend there, a relative elsewhere. I regretted it a lot. I thank God that they graced me anyway. They came, they celebrated with us and they even gave us gifts. It's never worth it hurting the ones you love and losing relationships because of your focused efforts to do things your way. Even when you may not agree, even if service providers dissapoint you, be gracious. Walk in love and stay at peace with people without allowing yourself to be controlled and manipulated. Good people are precious. Don't let your focus blind you. Don't be a diva and don't give ultimatums. Please NEVER tell your parents "We are doing things our way so you better line up or you may not even get an invitation!"

On my wedding day, I had my priorities right. I asked God to walk me down the aisle as my Ultimate Father. My greatest priority was His presence and His pleasure. The presence of God was so great, I remember pastor almost falling down and taking a step backward to stay steady. God's presence was so strong and so sweet. One by one, we began to cry. We had a mini cry fest. God was in the house. I had my closest friends as my bridal party. Not photogenic strangers. I was so thrilled to be joined to the love of my life, every other detail was secondary. Do the right thing, do it because it's right and do it the right way and let God show up and show off for you.

I thank God for the things that went very well. We made it on time, the worship was awesome, my nephews were so cute, the candles were so beautiful and the rain at the end of the day was like a divine signature signing off at the end of a perfect day.

Weddings are like that. They are rarely ever picture perfect. Much like relationships. Don't be fooled by the glossy photos, flawless makeup, and brilliant smiles. Don't think your marriage must be doomed because you had an argument during the honeymoon.  Don't lose a good relationship because things are not perfect. Don't let your little flaws blind you to your great qualities together. Celebrate what you have.

Baraka!

Prayer for ACCURACY IN FOLLOWING GOD’S LEADING

Father, in the Name of Jesus Christ, thank you for your constant leadership and direction in my life. Thank you that you instruct me and teach me in the way that I should go. Thank you that you consistently counsel me and watch over me as I make my decisions this year and all the days of my life. [Psalm 32:8]

Please forgive me Father, for every time I have ignored or disregarded your voice. Forgive me for insisting on my own way or the ways of others. You came into this world so that all who do not see may see. Thank you that you help me to see well. Thank you that you show me Your ways O Lord and you continue to teach me Your paths. You open my eyes and consistently and I see wondrous things from your law. [John 9:39, Psalm 25:4, Psalm 119:18]

I decree that I am led by the Holy Spirit. I belong to the flock of God. I hear You well and I know Your voice. I will not give attention or follow any strange voices all around me but I will always follow You. Thank you that by Your grace, you help me to take time in Your presence daily to Hear and obey You. I declare that I do not lean on my own understanding but I trust in You with all my heart concerning every area of my life. I am led by your wisdom. [Romans 8:14, John 10:4,1st John 2:21, Proverbs 3:5]

Holy Spirit, I thank you for your constant voice in my life. You are the Anointing from the Holy One. Thank you that you are in me and because of you, I know all things. I understand all things that you allow me to encounter, because You guide me all truth. There is nothing that you don’t know or do not understand. Nothing that I face is beyond me because I have you as my Teacher. Thank you that you make known to me mysteries. Things that others in my field may not even be aware of. You tell me of things to come and I give them due attention and due diligence. [1st John 2:21, John 16:13, Ephesians 3:3]

I decree Spirit of the Lord that you rest upon me. Spirit of wisdom and understanding, Spirit of counsel and might, Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord. My delight is in the fear of the Lord and I do not judge by the sight of my eyes nor decide by the hearing of my ears, but with righteousness and accuracy, I judge and discern everything well. Lord, you give me counsel. You instruct my heart in the night seasons. You show me the path of lie in every situation and that is the path that I follow. [Isaiah 11:2, Psalm 16:7 & 11]

Thank you Lord that you have given to me the spirit of revelation in the knowledge of you. The eyes of my understanding are enlightened. I know what is the hope of Your calling in my life, what are the riches of Your inheritance in the saints and what is the exceeding greatness of Your power towards us who believe. [Ephesians 1:6]

I thank you that where I have walked in darkness, by your grace and mercy, I now see a great light. Where I have dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, upon me, Your light has shined. I no longer walk in error or darkness. I walk in Your light. Thank you that I am led of you and I follow you all the days of my life. [Isaiah 9:2]

PRAYER AGAINST barrenness, miscarriage, premature death, abnomarlities and harm

1.     Father, in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I bind and forbid every aspect of BARRENNESS in my life, marriage, family, ministry and work. I refuse every inability to conceive of anything that you want birthed and nurtured through me; spiritually and naturally. It is defeated in Jesus’ Name. The Lord loves me and has blessed me. He has multiplied me in every good way. He has blessed the fruit of my womb. He has exalted me above all the peoples of the earth and neither me nor anyone or anything that is concerned with me is barren. There is no barrenness even among our livestock [work and produce]. We are productive in Jesus’ Name.  [Deuteronomy 7:13a & 14]

In the Name of Jesus Christ, I conceive in the womb of my spirit, my soul and even naturally and bring forth all the blessings and purposes of God in my life. The Holy Spirit has come upon me and has overshadowed me. I receive, conceive and birth out every aspect of the will of God in my life. Where I was called barren, I am now called fruitful, for nothing is impossible with God. [Luke 1: 31, 35 and 36]

2.      In Jesus’ Name, I come against every aspect of MISCARRIAGE AND ABORTION in my life, marriage, family, ministry and work. I carry to full term, every blessing, idea, concept and revelation that God has for me. I am removed from trouble, rebuke, and blasphemy, because when it comes to birthing and manifesting it all, I have sufficient spiritual and natural strength and resources and I bring forth everything that God has helped me to conceive in my spirit, in my soul and even naturally. Nothing is aborted and nothing is miscarried. [Isaiah 37:3]

3.      In Jesus’ Name I refuse every aspect of PREMATURE DEATH in my life, marriage, family, ministry and work. Every blessing that is born of God into my life is nurtured and raised into maturity, even to multiply and increase. The Lord loves me and has blessed me. He has multiplied me in every good way. He has blessed the fruit of my womb and the fruit of my land, my grain and my new wine, my oil, the increase of my cattle and the increase of my flock. I am fruitful and productive. [Deuteronomy 7:13]

In Jesus’ Name, I decree that I honour my parents and my God given authorities, mentors and guardians. Therefore It is well with me and all that concerns me and I live a long and fruitful life in the land that the Lord my God has given to me. I will live and not die and declare and manifest the works of God in this land of the living. Every purpose of satan to kill, steal and destroy in my life, marriage, family, ministry and work is defeated and nullified in Jesus’ Name.  Because Christ has come into my life, I have life and life more abundantly. [Ephesians 6:2 &3, Psalm 118:17, John 10:10, ]

Just like Christ did, in the days of His flesh, I offer up this prayer and supplication to You o God, who is able save me and all that concerns me from premature death. Thank you that you have heard me because I love and fear you. Thank you that you preserve me and all that which concerns me. With long life, You satisfy me and continually show me Your salvation [Hebrews 5:7, Psalm 91:16]

4.      In Jesus’ Name, I forbid all aspects of ABNORMALITY, INFIRMITY, DISORDER AND DEFECTS in my life, marriage, family, ministry and work. I forbid all of satan’s work, desires and plans to corrupt, warp, mess up or destroy my blessings and relationships. I speak the peace and fullness of God to all the God ordained blessings and relationships in my life. I decree that they are whole with nothing missing, nothing broken and nothing stolen. Grace and peace is multiplied into every area of my life, through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. The blessing of God causes increase into all these areas of my life, with no sorrow added. [Proverbs 10:22, 2nd Peter 1:2]

5.      In the Name of Jesus Christ I resist and forbid every aspect of HARM AND INJURY planned against every area of my life, marriage, family, ministry and work. No weapon formed against us shall prosper and every tongue that rises against us, we condemn. This is our heritage as servants of the Lord and our righteousness is of God [Isaiah 54:17]

We dwell in the secret place of the Most High. We abide under the shadow of the almighty. We say of You Lord, “Your are our refuge and our strength. Our God in you we trust”. Therefore every blessing, protection and promise of Psalm 91 is ours in Jesus’ Name. [Psalm 91]

The angel of the Lord encamps around us all who fear him and all that which concerns us, and delivers us. God is a wall of fire around us and our glory in our midst.  He is our refuge and our strength, our very present help in times of trouble.  God is our rock in whom we take refuge. Our shield and the horn of our salvation. Our stronghold, our refuge and saviour. He saves us from violence. We call upon the Lord who is worthy to be praised, so are we saved from all our enemies. [Psalm 34: 7, Zechariah 2:5, Psalms 46:1, 2nd Samuel 22:3&4]

We fear not because God is with us. We are never dismayed because He is our God. He has strengthened and helped us. He upholds us constantly with his righteous right hand. The Lord keeps us from all evil. He keeps our lives. The Lord watches over our going out and our coming in, from this time forth and forever more. The Lord continually rescues us from every evil deed and brings us safely into His heavenly Kingdom in the fullness of our time on earth, according to His perfect plan. To Him be glory forever and ever. Amen. [Isaiah 41:10, Psalm 121:7-8, 2Timothy 4:18]
